Auction Details

A diverse selection of classic cars will be featured, with special lots available for event auctions. All cars will be legally transferable at the time of the auction, as specified in our current terms and conditions.

Yes, you will be notified about the viewing days via our announcements.

The auction catalog will serve as your primary source of information, with comprehensive and clear details provided by Collins. We also encourage in-person inspections.

Sellers can set a reserve price. If a reserve has been set, and the final bid does not meet the reserve price, the lot will remain unsold.

We offer online auctions on collinsauction.co.th and live auction events reserved for special lots.

For online auctions, you can bid from anywhere. For live auctions, you don't need to be physically present. You can either submit your bid in advance to our team or bid via telephone during the event.

Registration and Participation

There is no registration fee. For live events, a refundable deposit (amount varies by event) is required. For online bidding, a valid credit card must be verified for you to qualify as a bidder.

Winning and Ownership

Collins will facilitate the connection with the seller to complete the transaction within three days after the auction concludes.

All lots are sold "as-is," with no guarantees or warranties. Please thoroughly review the details before deciding to bid.

No, once you place your bid, it is final and legally binding.

Consignment Process

Normally, it takes two to three weeks, depending on how much required information we can gather from the seller. However, we encourage setting aside an additional two weeks for marketing outreach so that we can find more buyers to compete for your car.

It is not necessary, but you must have the relevant documents proving that you have the right to sell the car.

Most conditions are welcome, you just need to make sure that the car is legally registered, legally acquired, and ready for ownership transfer. Please refer to our vehicle acceptance guideline for more details about what we accept or may not accept.

It is not mandatory to leave your car with us. However, we may arrange to collect the car when necessary for viewing appointments or an event auction day.

Pricing and Reserve

You can set a reserve price, which will be the minimum price you would accept for the car. If the auction ends with the highest bid not exceeding your reserve price, the lot will not be sold. However, we can connect you with the highest bidder, which might lead you to conclude the deal.

Generally, it should be somewhere between the lower and upper estimate which reflects the estimated market price. Please keep in mind that reserve prices are recommended to be set as a minimum acceptable price for a high possibility of selling success, rather than your desired price for the car, to let the auction mechanism work as intended.

Auction and After-Sale

We will connect with the highest bidder to work out a deal. If this does not succeed, you can also relist the car for our next auction at a lower or no reserve price.

Our online auctions typically run for 7 days for "Coming Soon" and 7 days for "Live Auction" giving buyers ample time to research and place their bids. For special events or premium vehicles, we may extend the auction duration.

We promote your vehicle through multiple channels including our website, social media platforms, email newsletters to our collector database, and targeted advertising. Premium listings may receive additional marketing exposure through specialist media partners.

While not mandatory, a recent service history and good mechanical condition typically result in higher bids. The same applies for cosmetic conditions which could benefit from a good detailing. We can recommend trusted service partners if needed.
