Rolex Datejust Ref. 1601 - "Piano" Prototype Dial

Rolex Datejust reference 1601 featuring the so-called “Piano” prototype dial.

The dial layout differs noticeably from regular production examples. The “Swiss” signature is positioned around the 6:00 index rather than directly beneath it, and the outer edge displays a distinctive alternating dark and light grey track, giving rise to the “Piano” nickname among collectors.

Offered in exceptional condition, with the dial preserved in near-perfect state.
