Marcel Breuer Model B5 Side Dining Chair

Designed between 1927 and 1928 by Hungarian modernist architect and furniture designer Marcel Breuer, the B5 chair reflects one of the most important design languages of the early modernist period.

Inspired by the strength, lightness, and flexibility of tubular steel bicycle frames, Breuer developed a chair form that challenged traditional furniture construction. Its cantilevered, legless structure gives the B5 a sense of visual lightness while maintaining a strong architectural presence.
