The Alfa Romeo 105 series represents one of the most celebrated sporting platforms in the marque's illustrious history. Produced between 1963 and 1977, these elegant machines combined Italian engineering prowess with timeless design language from the pen of Giorgetto Giugiaro during his tenure at Bertone.

The 105 series featured sophisticated engineering including four-wheel disc brakes , five-speed manual transmission, and DOHC engine, all usually found in top-end sports cars at the time. The 2000 GTV, introduced in 1971, represented the top of the range with its 2.0L twin-cam inline-four engine producing approximately 130 bhp, and delivering those to the rear wheels through a limited-slip differential.

This particular 2000 GTV bears exceptional provenance as a rare Thai-market example. It departed the Milan production facility on August 27th, 1973, destined for Bangkok, and finished in Grigio Indaco over Cinghiale Maremma interior.

Under current ownership, this Alfa Romeo underwent a comprehensive restoration between 2019 and 2021. The meticulous process included complete-disassembly bodywork restoration, full mechanical overhaul of the numbers-matching engine, suspension and brake system, as well as interior retrimming in the original Cinghiale Maremma material. During this time, the car also saw the color change to Rosso Amaranto as presented here.

While maintaining exceptional originality, this GTV has received thoughtful upgrades to enhance usability in modern driving conditions without compromising its character. These include an air conditioning system, Dellorto carburetors, and pistons.

The engine starts readily and produces the characteristic enthusiasm expected of a well-sorted Alfa Romeo twin-cam. The maintenance is up to date, ensuring that this GTV is ready to be enjoyed on the open roads of Thailand.
