Among the 9,395 XK150s produced, the Roadster variant stands as the most coveted, with just 2,263 examples constructed. Within this already exclusive group, this particular car's significance is amplified by its remarkably early production number (chassis 0029) and its Special Equipment specification which includes the uprated 210 bhp engine.

This exceptional XK150 SE Roadster represents one of the earliest examples produced, retaining numerous fascinating transitional features from Jaguar's legendary D-Type racing program. Most notably, the car features the smaller rear lights reminiscent of its Le Mans-winning sibling, a detail unique to very early production models. The SE specification brings numerous mechanical upgrades, most notably the enhanced version of the 3.4-liter straight-six engine, producing 210 bhp—a significant increase over the standard 190 bhp model. The numbers-matching engine remains in place, paired with its original four-speed manual transmission, providing the authentic driving experience these cars were renowned for.

The stunning combination of British Racing Green paintwork with Suede Green interior perfectly captures the essence of 1950s British motorsport heritage. As a Roadster variant, this XK150 benefits from significant weight-saving measures compared to its Drophead and Fixed Head Coupé siblings, resulting in enhanced performance and handling characteristics.
